Posted on April 13, 2022

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rep. Frank J. Mrvan (IN-1), and Portage Mayor Sue Lynch will hold a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the beginning of a sewer rehabilitation project:

WHEN: Monday, April 18, 2022

This project is part of the Calumet Region Environmental Infrastructure Section 219 program and has been allocated $1,437,500 of federal funding. Projects under this authority are cost shared at 75% federal and 25% nonfederal sponsor. The nonfederal sponsor, the City of Portage, provided a 25% cash match of $470,833.
