The land reclamation project site in Kolamaafushi island of Gaaf Alif atoll, has been mobilized.
This was revealed by the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) on Monday.
As such, taking to social media platform ‘X’ to provide the most recent updates of the Kolamaafushi land reclamation project to the public, MTCC revealed that they mobilized the project site on 3 April 2024.
Under the scope of the project, MTCC will be conducting land reclamation operations in an area measuring 284,145 cubic meters.
The project also entails the installation of a drainage bioswale measuring 823 meters.
The Kolamaafushi land reclamation project is valued at MVR 41.04 million.
