North Wildwood’s legal bout with the state may soon come to an end.
On Tuesday morning, the Jersey Shore town’s City Council unanimously approved an order that seeks to globally settle a decade-long disagreement with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection surrounding how severe erosion on the local beach should be handled and who should pay for it.
