Sustainability occupies an increasingly important place in everything we do within Jan De Nul. In our projects, we always go the extra mile to leave a positive impact on our environment, and on our (permanent) sites, too, we go all out for sustainable choices. EcoVadis also recognised these efforts. This year, they awarded us a gold medal for our initiatives. This places us in the top 5% of all companies evaluated by EcoVadis.
EcoVadis is an internationally recognised organisation that awards independent sustainability ratings to companies. For those ratings, they evaluate organisations in four areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. In 2021, EcoVadis awarded us a bronze medal, in 2022 a silver one, and now we received a gold medal for our efforts.
An EcoVadis medal is an indicator of a company’s sustainability management. The gold medal we received for 2023 recognises that we continue to make strong efforts within Jan De Nul to improve our sustainability policy.
