ITD Cementation India has been awarded a Rs 1,648-crore contract for marine construction at Vadhvan Port in Dahanu region in Maharashtra.
The order entails near-shore reclamation and shore protection work for the greenfield port development. ITD Cementation emerged the lowest bidder at its quoted price, which was below the estimated cost of Rs 1,770 crore..
The contract was approved by the Vadhvan Port Project (VPPL) board.
