Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS) has announced the appointment of Harun Duzgoren as the Regional Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Americas, effective 1 September 2023.
ISS believes that Duzgoren will offer a plethora of cross-functional skills to his new post, owing to his 23 years of managerial experience in the global maritime services business.
Prior to joining ISS, he was the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Subsea Global Solutions, a private equity-backed worldwide undersea services corporation based in Miami.
During his tenure, Duzgoren was key in defining the company’s marketing strategy, coordinating M&A deals, and reporting directly to the Board and Group CEO.
Prior to joining Subsea Global, Duzgoren worked for V.Group for 16 years, holding numerous senior international roles as well as complete profit and loss (P&L) responsibility.
He effectively supervised the group’s operations in Dubai, Istanbul, and Hamburg, as well as leading the Business Development function for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Duzgoren has worked on significant projects in key worldwide markets such as North America, the United Kingdom, Greece, Monaco, Turkey, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

In August 2022, ISS signed an agreement to acquire Kennedy Hunter NV from Conti-Lines Group (formerly Conti7).
