Hagadone Marine Group is pleased to announce the acquisition of Murphy Marine Construction Inc. assets on Lake Coeur d’Alene. This acquisition represents a significant expansion of Hagadone Marine Group’s capabilities, allowing for enhanced marine services and internal project completion.
The newly acquired assets adjacent to Blackwell Island Marina include 145 new wet slips, increasing Hagadone Marine’s total to 1,611 slips on Lake Coeur d’Alene. This strategic location perfectly complements Hagadone Marine’s operations and vision for regional growth.

This acquisition is significant due to the longstanding relationship between Hagadone Marine Group and the Murphy family. Fred Murphy was crucial in building The Coeur d’Alene Resort’s Floating Boardwalk Marina. Skip Murphy will assume an advisory role for Hagadone, and his son, Shaughn, will join the Hagadone Marine team in a lead role, while Mike Jensen and the Murphy crew will retain their positions as dock builders within the company.
