Arcadis, the world’s leading company delivering data-driven sustainable design, engineering and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets, today announced the intention to form a long-term strategic partnership for its Greater China business.
The partnership will support the next phase of growth for the Greater China business by combining local ownership with continued access to the Arcadis brand, global expertise and client network.
Under the proposed arrangement, a management team led by local leadership will acquire a majority ownership interest in the Greater China business. Arcadis will retain a meaningful minority interest and remain a long-term strategic partner.
Greater China is a strong business in a market where Arcadis has built a leading position. The partnership will provide local leadership with greater flexibility to respond to market opportunities and support future growth, while maintaining a close and enduring relationship with Arcadis.
The business will continue to operate under the Arcadis brand post-transaction. It will remain an important long-term partner to Arcadis, serving global clients with interests in Greater China and Chinese clients operating internationally.

The transaction is expected to complete during 2027, subject to customary approvals, regulatory requirements and closing conditions.
