To wrap up #ConstructionAppreciationWeek, we are shining a spotlight on the Sabine-Neches Waterway Channel Improvement Project!
This mega-project is a massive undertaking that relies on a partnership between USACE Galveston District, our non-federal sponsor, the Sabine-Neches Navigation District (SNND), and our industry contractors.
Right now, teamwork is making the dream work across multiple fronts:
Offshore: USACE and our contracting partner, Great Lakes Dredge & Dock (GLDD), are diligently progressing offshore dredging operations with safety at the forefront of every shift.
Inshore: On the inside, SNND and their contractors are working to relocate pipelines, clearing the way to keep the overall deepening and widening project strictly on schedule.
A project of this scale simply isn’t possible without our industry partners. Thank you to everyone on the water and on the ground helping us deliver this vital economic engine for the region and the nation
