We are saddened by the passing of Richard S. Weeks, a leader whose people-first approach helped shape our company.
Rich joined the family business in 1970 and went on to serve as president and CEO, guiding the company through decades of growth and change. During his tenure, Weeks Marine expanded beyond dredging into marine and heavy civil construction, positioning the business to take on more complex work.
Today, many of the principles Rich helped establish continue to guide our work as part of Kiewit.
We extend our condolences to the Weeks family and all who had the opportunity to work alongside him.
