Japan’s ENEOS Holdings has agreed to acquire US petrochemical company TPC Group, including its Port Neches operations in Texas, strengthening its presence across the US Gulf Coast’s industrial and logistics network.
TPC Group announced it had entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by ENEOS, with the transaction covering its manufacturing, storage and logistics assets.
The company operates major production facilities in Houston and Port Neches, supported by extensive terminal and distribution infrastructure serving the petrochemical sector.
The Port Neches operation forms a key part of TPC’s Gulf Coast logistics network, providing storage and marine access for products linked to its C4 petrochemical business.
TPC said the acquisition would support continued investment in its operations while strengthening its long-term position in the petrochemical value chain.
For ENEOS, the deal expands its international downstream footprint and adds strategic industrial and logistics assets in one of the world’s largest refining and petrochemical hubs.
The transaction remains subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions.
