History podcast features Ellicott Dredges as well as the history of dredging equipment development from the beginning of time
Although officially founded in 1885, Ellicott Dredges has its roots in the mud machine that helped deepen the Inner Harbor starting the 1780s! Invented by three brothers of the same family who founded Ellicott City, the mud machine kept Baltimore’s shipping channels clear. Ellicott Dredges does the same thing today around the world.
