The Dutra Group’s newest asset, the CB Harry S, along with the DB Paula Lee, are widening and deepening Mobile Ship Channel in Mobile, AL. This multi-phase dredging project is being conducted to bring larger, deeper draft ships into the Port of Mobile. Phase 4 of the Mobile Ship Channel is bringing the channel to a depth of 54’ over an 8.5 mile stretch of Mobile Bay. 5,794,000 CY of material will be moved to the offshore disposal site. $57,619,000 contract value. 2 Clamshell Dredges, 3 Offshore Tow Boats, 4 5,000 CY dump scows.
