A highlight at the Workboat Show was a get-together between friends at The Dutra Group and Eastern Shipbuilding Group, Inc. and Crowley to celebrate the team building the “Adele”.
Per Bill Dutra “This major investment continues The Dutra Group’s recapitalization efforts and focuses our resources on Dutra’s commitment to supporting America’s Jones Act fleet, our U.S. shipyards, and our nation’s maritime and economic security needs. The “Adele” will be American-owned, American-built, American flagged, and most importantly, American crewed.”
Led onsite by Patrick Sperry, working under the guidance of Steve Lee, Crowley Engineering Services was contracted to lead construction management of the vessel in Panama City, FL.
