Boskalis’ BOKA Sub C Heads to Guyana for New FPSO Hook-Up Project

Posted on August 17, 2026

In recent years, Boskalis’ DP3 Construction Support Vessel BOKA Sub C has been operating in Brazilian waters. More than a hundred kilometers offshore, the vessel installed anchors in the deep waters of South America, among other activities. Earlier this year, our BOKA Sub C set sail for Europe, where she was prepared in Spain for her next assignment: the hook-up of a brand-new FPSO off the coast of Guyana.

In addition to an overhaul of the large offshore cranes and thrusters, as well as an upgrade of the vessel’s DP3 system, the BOKA Sub C also received the Boskalis livery. Although the vessel has been part of our extensive offshore fleet for years, she was not immediately recognizable as such at sea – until now. And let’s be honest: the new look suits her incredibly well!

We thank Astilleros de Santander S.A.U. for the pleasant collaboration during the dry dock period and wish the crew of the BOKA Sub C the best of luck on their upcoming project.
