Officers operate heavy equipment while dredging the estuary of the Krueng Cangkoi River in Pasar Aceh Village, Johan Pahlawan, West Aceh, Aceh, Sunday (30/8/2026). The local government is conducting normalization and dredging of the river estuary, which has experienced shallowing due to sedimentation and marine sand deposits, to facilitate access for boats and fishermen’s vessels without having to wait for high tide.
