SAUGATUCK, MI — The popular passage way from Kalamazoo River to Lake Michigan is being cleared for boaters, with sand redistribution to Saugatuck’s most popular shorelines.
This month, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District, began dredging 68,000 cubic yards of sediment from Saugatuck Harbor to ensure safe navigation between Lake Michigan and the Kalamazoo River.
