DredgeWire is extremely pleased to report that it has hit a new milestone with 25,000 followers on LinkedIn, placing it at the top of all maritime publications worldwide.

DredgeWire has achieved this milestone in less than a decade, competing against established, entrenched publications by innovating and responding to current trends in technology, news gathering, and reader interests.

We appreciate the support of our sponsors and readers.

Bill Hanson of Great Lakes Dredge & Dock noted:

“We have supported DredgeWire for almost eight years and are very proud of its growth and commitment to providing real news on dredging projects and issues. Congrats on a big milestone, and let’s not stop now!”

DredgeWire also attributes much of its success to its partnership with WEDA, the Western Dredging Association.

Stan Ekren, the Executive Director of WEDA, offered:

“Congratulations to DredgeWire on being the largest maritime publication worldwide. And thank you for being a major supporter of WEDA. Our ability to reach our members and others in our industry through our ongoing programs, regional meetings, and Annual Summit has been enhanced by this support.”

For those interested in the details, the chart below lists 13 publications in our space. Several of them are more than a century old.
