Hagonoy, Bulacan— “If the mouth of the Labangan Channel and other Bulacan rivers will be dredged, the perennial flooding in Calumpit, Hagonoy and Pulilan will be solved.”

This was the assessment given last Saturday by Captain Dax Barinos, of the Philippine Army’s 18th Special Action Force stationed in this coastal town.

Barinos said, the mouth of the river are now already clogged by debris and accumulated garbage and by sand bars that was caused by south west monsoon winds.
