When a French dam manager reached out to us, the problem wasn’t dredging one basin. It was dredging many.
Small reservoirs, scattered across the region, each with its own characteristics. Sending out a full crew and complex equipment every single time simply wasn’t sustainable.
The request was clear: a compact dredge, easy to install, and one that needed people as little as possible.
We started from our DRF100 and reshaped it. The modular structure lets you assemble and disassemble it several times a year. The pump positions itself automatically, and the dredge moves on its own within the basin. The jet-ring system and automatic pump cleaning reduce downtime and the moments when an operator has to step in.
Today, that dredge travels from one reservoir to the next and works autonomously, while the client’s team gets on with everything else.
Every project starts from a specific need. This was one of the most interesting.
