Denali Water Buys Assets of Pennsylvania Company

Posted on March 11, 2021

Wastewater conversion services provider Denali Water Solutions LLC of Russellville on Friday announced its fourth acquisition in less than a year, buying the assets of Jesse Baro Inc., a municipal and industrial environmental waste transportation company headquartered in Douglassville, Pennsylvania, on Jan. 29.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

This announcement follows Denali Water’s January acquisition of Madden Brothers Inc.’s compost, mulch and soil operations in Brunswick, Ohio, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, WeCare Denali LLC. Denali Water also purchased the stock of Veris Environmental LLC of Limon, Colorado, and AWS Dredge LLC of Smithfield, Utah, in October.

Jesse Baro provides environmental transportation and land application services for customers in both the private and public sectors, including transportation and land application of residuals for municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants, water plants, incineration and food processing facilities. The company also provides services to the general construction industry, hauling bulk commodities, stone, compost, soils and other materials plus managing the disposal needs of large and small contractors.

“The purchase of Jesse Baro Inc. aligns with Denali’s geographic market diversification strategy. This approach enhances our opportunities to deliver quality service and resources to existing and new customers while continuing to provide a safe and excellent workplace for employees,” Denali President Jeffrey LeBlanc said in a news release. “We are excited to have Steve Baro and his excellent team join Denali and look forward to maximizing the synergies between both entities in the Mid-Atlantic area.”

“Jesse Baro Inc. is excited to join and grow with the Denali Water Solutions team. Along with a strong fleet of trucks, drivers, field personnel, office staff, and mechanics, we are ready to support Denali’s vision in the waste conversion industry,” Baro added.
