***The deadline to submit nominations for the Lifetime Achievement Award, Dredger of the Year, and Young Professional Award has been extended to Friday, May 10, 2024.***
WEDA will present several awards, including the Lifetime Achievement, Dredger of the Year, and the Young Professional of the Year Award at the Dredging Summit and Exposition, which will be held from June 24-27, 2024, in Tampa, FL. The deadline to nominate individuals has been extended. Nominations for these awards must be submitted by May 10, 2024, to Steve Shaw, Chair of WEDA’s Awards Commission, at scshaw@sevenson.com. - Lifetime Achievement Award – to be presented on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, in the Tampa Bay Ballroom at the GALA Dinner.
- This award is WEDA’s most prestigious and is given to the person who has significantly contributed over many years to the success of WEDA and the dredging community.
- Submit 1-2 page nominations to scshaw@sevenson.com

- Dredger of the Year – to be presented on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, in the Tampa Bay Ballroom at the GALA Dinner.
- This award is WEDA’s Person of the Year and reflects that person who has contributed significantly to WEDA or the dredging community during the last year or years.
