CPRA’s Brad “Sweet Grass” Miller Retires After 27 Years
We want to wish Brad “Sweet Grass” Miller a happy retirement! For over 27 years, Brad led several projects such Caminada 1 and 2 (BA-0045, BA-0143), NRDA Caillou Lake Headlands (TE-0100), Spanish Pass (BA-0203), Maurepas (PO-0029), and several other projects.
Since Maurepas’ authorization in 2001, Brad has been instrumental in seeing the project to fruition, which will work in conjunction with West Shore Lake Pontchartrain to not only protect River Parish communities but also rebuild and restore the vital Maurepas Swamp area. Through his career, Brad developed the nickname ” Sweet Grass” (or simply “Grass”) by folks he has worked closely with.
From everyone at CPRA, we thank Brad for his dedication to restoring our coast, wetlands and preserving Louisiana’s future!
