According to the applicant, the proposed dredging would be needed as the area has silted-in over time, which has restricted water access to the property owned by the applicant. The project area would be dredged 2’ deeper to approximately 4’ depth at normal water levels. All dredge material would be pumped via dredge hose to an adjacent upland parcel for dewatering via geotextile bags. All dredge material would then be transported to an offsite upland location for permanent disposal.
