A beach renourishment project at Coquina Beach is nearing completion after damage from Hurricane Idalia.
Dredging and sand discharge operations for the project wrapped up last week, according to Manatee County officials.
Remaining work, including pipeline removal and beach tilling, is expected to be finished this week.
