CMA CGM has completed its investment in Morocco’s Nador West Med port, with subsidiary CMA Terminals taking a 49% stake in Nador Container Terminal following regulatory approval.
Moroccan port operator Marsa Maroc retains 51% of the company, which holds the concession for the port’s western container terminal.
The transaction completes a partnership agreement signed in October 2025.
The terminal will have 900 metres of quay, a water depth of 18 metres and 37.5 hectares of container-handling and storage space.
Annual handling capacity is planned to reach 1.8m teu, with operations scheduled to begin in 2027.
