China commissions first commercial-scale offshore wind project with 18MW turbines

The 2GW Yangjiang Fanshi offshore wind project off the coast of Guangdong province has achieved full-capacity operation, according to China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN), marking China’s first large-scale deployment of 18MW offshore wind turbines.
