A double milestone at the Fengmiao 1 offshore wind farm in Taiwan. Our Taiwanese joint venture CDWE has successfully completed the pin pile and offshore substation transportation and installation campaign ahead of schedule. With offshore installation vessel Green Jade, CDWE installed 99 pin piles, the offshore substation topside and foundation. Together, the foundation and topside weigh more than 8,000 tons, making it the largest offshore substation installed in Taiwan to date.
With 33 turbines the wind farm will have a total capacity of approximately 500 MW.
The team will now continue with the transportation and installation of the jacket foundations.
