Bolloré Logistics has joined the French Maritime Cluster (Cluster Maritime Français, CMF).
The CMF is an organisation focused on promoting the sustainable and responsible development of French maritime economy and its local and international influence.
Bolloré Logistics is the first freight forwarding company to join the cluster, which currently gathers more than 460 entities.
Among many projects, decarbonisation of the supply chain, digitalisation and employment are at the forefront.

“The development of maritime synergies is essential to meet the challenges of today’s constantly changing market,” said Henri Le Gouis, CEO Europe of Bolloré Logistics.
“We currently transit our customers’ shipments through more than 95 per cent of French ports, which is why we want to work closely with the French Maritime Cluster to accentuate France’s maritime geographical advantages and best satisfy our customers’ international freight transport needs.”
CMF’s recent release welcomed Bolloré Logistics as a strategic partner to aid the organisation deepen its awareness of the challenges of the logistics sector.
The agreement will commence on 1 September for a weekly allocation of 100 TEU transported with biofuel, and it is set to allow a reduction of around 1,500 tons of CO2 emissions in Well-to-Wake by the end of the year.
