China’s domestically built Junguang, Asia’s largest self-propelled trailing suction dredger, has started its first operation at Yancheng Binhai Port. It uses underwater rake arms and strong pump suction to automatically remove seabed sediment. The full-process intelligent dredging maintains a stable water depth, ensuring safe navigation for large LNG ships and supporting regional clean energy supply.
