Arcadis has launched its inaugural Impact Report, setting out how the company is helping clients turn sustainability ambition into measurable project outcomes and long-term value. The report reinforces Arcadis’ role as a responsible business and trusted partner to clients, industries and communities worldwide.
For investors and analysts, the report provides a clearer view of how sustainability is increasingly connected to client demand, risk management and business performance. It highlights Arcadis’ work across sectors where economic, environmental and social pressures are shaping capital investment decisions, from climate resilience and energy transition to water security, infrastructure and the built environment.
By combining design and engineering expertise with advanced data intelligence, Arcadis is supporting clients to address immediate risks while creating value over the full project lifecycle. The report shows how sustainability-led solutions can improve resilience, reduce costs, support approvals and create measurable benefits for people, places and the planet. “Our approach to sustainability is anchored by a commitment to shaping positive commercial outcomes for our clients through their projects,” said Mark McKenna, Global Sustainability Director.
A key feature of the report is Arcadis Future IMPACT+™, a global framework developed to help measure, manage and benchmark sustainability impact across project delivery. The programme brings greater consistency and transparency to how Arcadis quantifies outcomes across five areas: carbon, nature, water, circularity and social impact. This evidence-based approach helps clients make better-informed decisions and supports Arcadis’ ability to demonstrate the value created through its work at scale.
The report also includes project examples and aggregated impact data that illustrate the scale of Arcadis’ contribution across markets and geographies. This includes avoided carbon emissions associated with client projects assessing whole life carbon impact, as well as case studies showing how sustainability can support stronger project outcomes and more resilient communities.
