American Shore & Beach Preservation Association Hosts Coastal Summit in Washington DC, March 26-28

Washington, DC – The American Shore & Beach Preservation Association invites coastal advocates and stakeholders to join the ASBPA Coastal Summit 2024 “Shaping Coastal Futures: Implementing Science-Based Resilience Policies” from Tuesday, March 26th to Thursday, March 28th at the National Association of Counties Building in Washington, DC.

The Coastal Summit provides a platform to advocate for coastal infrastructure investment with a strong, united message of many coastal groups speaking with one voice. Partners and attendees from across the nation have access to an exclusive audience of federal partners, Congressional representatives, and industry leaders, sharing perspectives on the benefits of increased funding as well as ongoing challenges for coastal projects. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with members of Congress and their staff to voice their coastal resilience needs during ASBPA Advocacy Day, rub shoulders with Washington insiders in the penthouse reception room of a Senate Office Building during the Coastal Celebration on Capitol Hill, and dive deep into coastal resilience and connect with influential dignitaries, speakers, panels, attendees, and sponsors to exchange ideas and build lasting relationships.
