Agate Construction Co. Inc., Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, was awarded a firm-fixed-price contract for North Jetty repairs at Indian River Inlet. The amount of this action is $53,000,000 with a total cumulative face value of $55,400,000. Bids were solicited via the internet with one received. Work will be performed in Bethany Beach, Delaware, with an estimated completion date of Oct. 31, 2028. Fiscal 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2026 civil operation and maintenance funds in the amount of $53,000,000 were obligated at the time of the award.
