1. General. This is a Sources Sought Notice. This is NOT an Invitation for Bids. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified businesses to perform hopper maintenance dredging at various locations on the West Coast of the United States in 2016. Your response will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method for this requirement. This Sources Sought Notice is for market research and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Government. The NAICS code for this project is 237990. The small business size standard is $27.5 million.

2. Information Sought. Interested firms should provide the following information via email to the Contract Specialist at david.c.boone@usace.army.mil.

3. Industry Call. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District, requests that all interested qualified businesses also respond to this Sources Sought by participating in an industry telephone conference call with USACE, Portland District to discuss the proposed hopper dredging work. This telephone conference will be conducted on Friday, 21 August 2015 at 10:00 AM Pacific Daylight Time.

Firms interested in attending the industry telephone conference call for this requirement are requested to email the Contract Specialist, Mr. David Boone atdavid.c.boone@usace.army.mil and provide the names of the individuals who will be attending. Call-in information for the meeting will be provided via email by 4:00 PM on Thursday, 20 August 2015. Interested businesses are encouraged to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via email and call in for the telephone conference meeting.
