Weeks Marine Lands Two Dredging Contracts, $28.1 million for Kings Bay, Ga. Entrance Channel & $ 11.1 million modification for Bayport Ship Channel, Tx.

Weeks Marine Inc., Covington, Louisiana, was awarded a $28,128,150 firm-fixed-price contract for maintenance dredging of the Kings Bay Entrance Channel in Camden County, Georgia, and Nassau County, Florida. Bids were solicited via the internet with three received. Work will be performed in St. Marys, Georgia, with an estimated completion date of March 30, 2026. Fiscal 2025 operation and maintenance, Army funds in the amount of $28,128,150 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville, Florida, is the contracting activity.

Weeks was also awarded an $11,104,129 modification (P00002) to contract W912HY-24-C-0007 for dredging in the Bayport Ship Channel. This modification increases the total cumulative face value to $69,356,129. Work will be performed in La Porte, Texas, with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2025. Fiscal 2025 civil operation and maintenance funds in the amount of $11,104,129 were obligated at the time of award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston, Texas, is the contracting activity.
