*Short Course Information:
USACE ERDC/WEDA Innovations Towards Achieving More Sustainable Management of Dredged Material short course: This short course will discuss USACE’s declaration to achieve 70% beneficial use of all dredged materials by 2030 (aka, 70 by 30). The short course will help participants implement new USACE guidance to consider environmental benefits and efficiencies when comparing dredged sediment beneficial use placement options. The course will present methods that can be used to assign values to environmental benefits resulting from beneficial use of dredged materials (BUDM).
