Recently, a new floating booster station was delivered to Vale for their clean-up project in Brazil. This cutting-edge booster station is specifically designed to enhance production and streamline the clean-up process at the Paraopeba River. By increasing pumping power, it significantly improves the efficiency of slurry transport over long distances, working alongside equipment like the IHC Beaver® 45 and Workboat DMC 1050 already operational at Vale’s site.
To minimise environmental impact, the booster station is soundproofed to reduce noise and housed in a container to prevent any potential release of environmental contaminants.
Following this delivery, a dedicated IHC Mining team will support the assembly and commissioning of the equipment at our client’s operation. We’re excited about this milestone and can’t wait to share more updates with you!
