A liquefied natural gas vessel, the Maria Energy, reportedly arrived at Cheniere Energy’s (LNG +3.3%) $15B Corpus Christi LNG export facility in Texas over the weekend.
The vessel is the second to visit Corpus since Cheniere started producing LNG last month at the plant’s first liquefaction train and could become the first vessel to pick up a cargo there.
It is not known why the first vessel, LNG Golar Tundra, visited Corpus but the company said it did not pick up LNG.
