Ready for new operations
Built at our shipyard in Brazil, located in the Recife region, and delivered to Transpetro – Petrobras Transporte S. A. in 2015, the gas carrier Oscar Niemeyer returned to our floating dock for a new chapter in this trusted partnership.
During 40 days of project, our Brazilian team carried out a comprehensive repair and maintenance project, covering structural, electrical, and machinery services, as well as the modernization of the Ballast Water Management System (BWMS).
The vessel departed from our Brazilian shipyard on November 14th, 2025, ready to resume operations with safety and efficiency. With this project, as part of the Fincantieri Group, we reinforce our position with Transpetro, consolidating Vard Promar as a reference in gas carrier maintenance and repair in Brazil.
