A giant takes to the water!
A proud moment at Vard Shipyards Romania – Tulcea as we launch new build 970 Prysmian Alessandro Volta, the largest vessel ever launched by VARD.
At an impressive 192.8 meters in length, this next-generation cable-laying vessel is of VARD 9 18 design by Vard Design and is built for some of the most complex offshore power cable installations.
Congratulations to the teams across VARD and to our customer Prysmian on achieving this remarkable milestone. A true testament to the scale, skill, and collaboration that define what’s made possible at VARD.
