Rotterdam, the Netherlands – Van Oord won the prestigious FD Henri Sijthoff Award in the Non-listed category last night. The annual award for the best annual report in the Netherlands is presented by the Financieele Dagblad newspaper.
‘Reporting and communication are essential for companies to connect with the world around them: from shareholders to suppliers, from local communities to many other stakeholders. Van Oord distinguishes itself, among other things, thanks to its integrated sustainability report, which also includes non-financial information’, according to the jury. Other nominees in this category were Dura Vermeer and Goudse Verzekeringen.
