Rotterdam, The Netherlands, 25 April 2025 – The General Meeting of Shareholders of Van Oord N.V. was held on 24 April 2025. During this meeting, changes in the Supervisory Board were announced, and the Annual Report 2024 was presented.
The Annual Financial Statements were adopted and the shareholders granted discharge to both the Executive Committee and the Supervisory Board for their stewardship throughout the 2024 financial year, and thanked all Van Oord employees for their contributions and for their flexibility, loyalty and strong commitment.
After 9 years on the Supervisory Board, 7 of them as Chairperson, Mr Hoek has stepped down. We are very grateful for his contributions to the company. Mr Oosterveer has taken over as Chairperson. Mr P. van Oord has been nominated by the Annual General Meeting for appointment as a new member. He will succeed Mr Verheul, whose current term of office expires in 2025.
The composition of the Supervisory Board is now as follows: Mr Oosterveer (Chair), Ms Fentener van Vlissingen, and Messrs Kretzers, Laurent Josi, Sevinga, Valkier and Van Oord.
