Exciting news! 🎉 We’re one step closer to the christening of offshore installation vessel Boreas. The deck equipment has been successfully installed at the Port of Amsterdam. The decks are outfitted with wind turbine foundation equipment and installation tools in preparation for its first assignment. The vessel will soon head to the Port of Rotterdam.
Van Oord is leading the way in the transition to renewable energy with the Boreas. The vessel is the largest of its kind with the ability to operate on methanol.
