We are proud to announce that Van Oord has been recognised on the A-list of CDP’s Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA), becoming the first Dredging & Marine Contractor to achieve this distinction. This recognition highlights our commitment to Achieving net-zero emissions and reducing emissions in line with the 1.5-degree threshold as part of our sustainability strategy.
During the Supply Chain Event held at the Boreas christening festivities, Director Procurement & Supply Chain, Sander Korving, emphasised the importance of active participation in our CDP Supply Chain disclosure cycle and the vital role our partners play in achieving collective progress.

The CDP SEA assesses how companies engage suppliers on climate-related issues, focusing on governance, targets, Scope 3 emissions, and collaboration throughout the value chain. Van Oord is building a sustainable supply chain and accelerating climate action through meaningful partnerships.
