Valeport are finishing the year on a real high with our best ever year for Sales.
Despite the uncertainties in the UK with Brexit negotiations continuing, the forecast for 2019 is very positive as we enter our 50th Anniversary year.
Valeport are currently engaging distributors for valuable feedback so that we can continue to improve our Sales, Service and Technical support and we are continuing to invest in our processes, facilities and staff.

XOCEAN Unmanned Surface Vessel uses Valeport SWiFT SVP and miniSVS
XOCEAN have successfully completed demonstrations of their USV’s over the horizon bathymetric survey capability utilising Valeport instruments.
Surveys were performed in Carlingford Lough (N. Ireland) and the Irish Sea, controlled over a satellite internet connection by a team of trained USV Pilots in XOCEAN’s operations centre. XOCEAN’s XO-450 has been demonstrated to be a robust platform for multibeam echo sounder surveys.

Upgrade for rapidPro series of profilers
We are pleased to announce our rapid series of profilers have been upgraded providing enhanced specification, deployment and usability.
The rapidPro SVT and rapidPro CTD are an evolution of the popular probe series that allows data profiling whilst a vessel is underway.
With the introduction of more complex winches for both vessel and autonomous craft, these improved profilers can be used in both freefall mode, or via a controlled descent and recovery up to 2000m in depth.
Designed for the fast collection of profiles without compromising on the quality of the data, Valeport’s new optimised probes reduce the load on surveyors.

SWiFTplus demand continues
Demand for the SWiFTplus sensor has continued to exceed expectations. As a result we have developed fluorometer versions of the SWiFTplus which are due for launch in Q1 2019.
We are also finalising the increased depth versions of the SWiFTSVP and SWiFTplus.
Seasonal Holiday Closure
Our factory will be closed from 4pm on 24 December and re-open at 8am on 2 January 2019.
During this period both Sales@valeport.co.uk andSupport@valeport.co.uk emails will be monitored.
