Posted on March 4, 2026

València, X March, 2026 – The Port Authority of Valencia (APV) has awarded the contract for the extension of an office building located at the Real Club Náutico de Valencia to house the facilities of the Civil Guard Maritime Service and the State Tax Administration Agency (AEAT). The project includes the installation of two modular buildings, one permanent and one temporary during the works.

The works, which have been awarded for a sum exceeding €2 million to the company Binaria Compañía General de Construcciones, will take one year to complete. The aim of the project is to provide a joint base for both services in the same building, for which the current office building, located in the Real Club Náutico de Valencia, will be extended in both surface area and height.

This project is part of the agreement signed between the State Tax Administration Agency and the Port Authority of Valencia.

It involves the extension of an existing building located on a pier reclaimed from the sea and surrounded on three sides by the waters of the Real Club Náutico marina. The building currently consists of a single ground floor, which will be extended on the east side and on the first floor. Alongside this extension, two modular buildings will be constructed, one of which will be temporary, in the southern part of the plot, currently the location of the heliport.

The expanded ground floor will be used by the Civil Guard Maritime Service, while the new first floor will be used by the AEAT. Alongside this expansion, two modular buildings are being constructed, one of which will be permanent and used by the AEAT, and the other temporary, to house the Civil Guard Maritime Service facilities during the works.

Another objective of this project is to expand office space, meeting rooms, a kitchen and changing rooms, which the current building cannot accommodate. Furthermore, the various installations have been calculated in accordance with current regulations, which already provide for the adoption of energy efficiency solutions. Among other measures, the building will be air-conditioned using an aerothermal system and will have a photovoltaic installation for generating electricity for self-consumption.
