The study focuses on the deep draft navigation channel and will investigate alternatives to improve ship vessel navigation efficiency, reduce transportation costs, and maintain safety in Tampa Harbor pursuant to national environmental statutes and other Federal planning requirements.
The public participation events will present the study scope and solicit comments from the Tampa community, agencies and stakeholders in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969.
A morning presentation will be conducted Nov. 18, 2021, from 10 a.m. to noon, and an evening presentation will be conducted from 6-8 p.m. Each presentation will end with a question-and-answer segment designed to engage and respond to the public.
