USACE hosting virtual workshop for Buckhorn Lake Master Plan Update

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is in the process of updating its 1972 Master Plan for Buckhorn Lake located in Buckhorn, Kentucky.

A Master Plan is the document that conceptually establishes and guides the orderly development, administration, maintenance, preservation, enhancement, and management of all natural, cultural, and recreational resources of a Corps water resource project.

Public input is critical in the Master Plan update process. USACE Louisville District will be hosting a virtual workshop to provide the public with an opportunity to comment. The public comment period will be open until June 20, 2022.

The public is invited to join USACE for a virtual public meeting to provide input on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, beginning at 6:00 p.m. (EDT).
