The Izmail branch of the state enterprise Ukrainian Sea Port Authority is going to carry out maintenance dredging of the port’s berths and water area this year. The dredging will be performed by the state enterprise UkrVodShlyakh.
Under the project the port’s administration are planning to increase the depths near berths No.12-14 (320 m long) and No. 19-22 (690 m long) to 4.5 m.
In addition, they will perform dredging of the port’s water area to 4.8 m at the dockyard entrance (90th km of the Danube River) and that of the dockyard’s water area (85th km of the Danube River) to 3.8 m.
The works are expected to be completed in Q3 2017.
