A study identifying potential long-term, water resource projects to solve a host of flood control, ecosystem and water supply problems in the Sacramento Valley will be presented next week by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
The meeting will go from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. Wednesday at the Yuba County Government Center, 915 Eighth St., Marysville. It will provide an overview of the Central Valley Integrated Flood Management Study, a watershed study of the Sacramento River and its tributaries, including the Feather and Yuba rivers.
The study won’t recommend specific projects to be built, but the presentation will outline projects that should be studied, said Robert Kidd, corps spokesman.
